More than 500 consumer expenditure variables for Automotive, Insurance, Financial, Restaurant, Retail Spending and Medical industries are included at the State and County levels, which is excellent for performing various types of analyses (see Industry examples on back). BusinessMAP 4.5 contains all new geographic data (ZIP Codes, streets, etc.) with high-quality maps. BusinessMAP 4.5 Add-ons!With the addition of an European datasets, BusinessMAP is now an international product. Other add-on datasets such as U.S. topographic maps. BusinessMAP: US Topographic maps - The recognized standard for land use detail and infrastructure data. Dun & Bradstreet Business ListingsThe Dun & Bradstreet database of 16 million business listings is integrated into BusinessMAP 4.5 and can be searched by Business Name, Location, Description of Business or SIC code. Other D&B fields provided include Business Name, D-U-N-S number, Address, Telephone, Annual Sales Range, Annual Employee Range, Latitude/ Longitude and more.Search results are plotted on the map and can be viewed in the BusinessMAP database window. Sample listings are as follows: doctors 332,000, hospitals 22,000, restaurants 267,000, gas stations 80,000, attorneys 113,000, banks 124,000, schools 240,000, drug stores 52,000, and beauty shops 280,000. All D&B fields except Sales and Employee range are exportable in .DBF format at additional cost. BusinessMAP Multi-level Territory DesignBusinessMAP 4.5 contains a 4-level hierarchical territory design that lets you build territories and then group them into regions, areas, etc. Data can be summarized by territory or region to analyze performance and make decisions concerning territory realignment. You can select any mixture of geography (State, County, ZIP3, ZIP5 or Census Tract) to design territories or have BusinessMAP 4.5 automatically create territories using your database.
BusinessMAP: Routing and Call PlanningCall planning is even easier with optimized routing and the ability to search along your driving route. For example, a medical equipment salesperson planning to visit hospitals in two cities could add a Dun & Bradstreet database of Nursing Care facilities to the map. It is then easy to search along the driving route to find facilities to visit, add them to the route and then recalculate the route with driving directions to all chosen stops.BusinessMAP 4.5 also has geographic query capability for finding all points (clients, competitors, prospects, etc.) within a circle, rectangle or polygon drawn on the map.
